The doctors who are responsible for your treatment will decide when you are well enough to be discharged.
You should not leave the Hospital against medical advice. If you do decide that you wish to leave the Hospital and do so against medical advice you will do so at your own risk and carry full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from your decision. You will be asked to sign a declaration to this effect. Please be aware that your insurance provider may refuse to cover your treatment costs in the event that you act against medical advice.
Should you feel that you may need advice and support following your discharge from Hospital, please make sure that you contact our
Social Care Team.
On the day of your discharge, please remember to cancel your telephone service and collect any valuables which you handed in for safekeeping.
