A library is situated near the reception desk in the entrance lobby. This facility is run by a group of volunteers who are generally referred to as the "Green Ladies and Gentlemen". They are members of the "Evangelische Krankenhaushilfe", a Protestant organisation providing pastoral care to patients in hospitals and care homes.

Stamps may be purchased from the vending machine located on the Ground Floor of Building B. You will find a post box next to the vending machine.
A café is located on the Ground Floor of Building A, near the main entrance.

All our rooms are equipped with television sets, which you may use free of charge. For information on how to use the television sets, please refer to the information leaflet on how to use telephones and television sets. If you require a set of headphones, please ask a member of staff.
On channel 29, you will find our Klinik-Info-Kanal, or KiK (Hospital information Channel), which offers a daily programme of entertainment as well as health-related information and advice. The one-week-long programme is repeated every week. On this channel, you will also be able to watch a 10-minute promotional clip about the Hospital.
For foot-related care, please contact a member of nursing staff on your ward. Alternatively, you may contact the reception desk situated in the Hospital's entrance lobby (or telephone 0621 503 2103).
If you are looking for a bank, branches of "Sparkasse Vorderpfalz" can be found on Goerdelerplatz and along Sternenstraße, on the corner of Hohenzollernstraße. A "Sparkasse Vorderpfalz"-ATM is located in the foyer of Building B, close to the cafés.
If you require a taxi, this can be booked via the reception desk situated in the entrance lobby. If you find it difficult to walk, you may ask a member of staff on your ward to book this for you.
All Hospital rooms are equipped with telephones. To make a call from your room, you will require a telephone card. Telephone cards can be purchased from vending machines located in the foyers areas of Building A (Ground Floor and 2nd Floor) and Building B (4th Floor). For further information, please refer to the information leaflet on how to use telephones and television sets.
Public telephones are situated in the foyer area on the Ground Floor of Building B. All the telephones accept coins or a telephone card, which may purchased from the nearby café.
If you wish to use your own laptop a dongle (mobile internet connection device) can be provided to you. This service will be charged at 3 Euro per day.
Newspapers and magazines can be purchased from the café located on the ground floor of Building A.
