Our clinic offers services in the specialist areas of gastroenterology, gastroenterologic oncology, hepatology and infectiology. We medicate patients with general diseases of the digestive system, tumours of the digestive system, Diseases of the hepatobiliary system and infectious diseases such as tuberculosis.

State-of-the-art ultrasonic and endoscopic procedures are used in diagnosis and therapy. That way, certain gall stones can be treated using shock waves without surgery, for instance.

A modern equipped functional laboratory offers long-term acidimetry and pressure measurements in the gullet as well as respiratory tests. The nutrition team inserts nutritional catheters in an endoscopic way, taking care of patients using total parenteral nutrition in the clinic for outpatients.

Patients with liver diseases and following liver transplantations, are also taken care of as outpatients. As regards treatment of diabetics, we work in close cooperation with the Diabetes Centre and regarding obese patients we cooperate with the Adipositas Centre.
