The Surgical Clinic A focuses on surgical treatment of tumours and cancer diseases of the lung, esophagus, stomach, biliary tracts, liver, small intestine colon and anus just as surgical operations of the thyroid, pancreas and adrenal glands as well as the trauma and reconstructive surgery. Laparoscopic techniques are prefered when indicated. Specialised doctors of the Surgical Clinic A are involved in the interdisciplinary Continence Centre Ludwigshafen.
