Registered specialist doctors and doctors of the medical centre bring in their competencies in terms of medical care of breast diseases into the Rhenish Palatinate breast centre.

Targets of the Ludwigshafen breast centre include:

• Improved medical care of tumor patients in the region by means of
  prophylaxis, early diagnosis, diagnostics, treatment, aftercare and
  rehabilitation of the breast cancer disease
• Quality assurance in terms of diagnostics and therapy of the breast
  cancer patients
• Integration of supportive and alternative methods as well as
  involvement of self-help groups
