Diabetes Centre

The target of the Diabetes Centre is integrated out-patient and in-patient treatment of diabetics and to provide them with information by involving their social environment.

Only by training on time, competent care and provision of diabetics, it can be ensured that often occurring complications, such as increased risk of kidney diseases, heart attacks, going blind and foot amputations, can be avoided. Everyday life with the disease is considerably facilitated.

  • Conventional diabetes therapy (CT)
  • Functional therapy (FIT)
  • Basic Bolus therapy (ICT)
  • Insulin pump (CSII)
  • Treatment of the diabetic foot syndrome
    (foot out-patient department)
  • Structured diabetics’ training (type 1 and type 2)

Diabetes special out-patient department for parturients and patients in problematic situations as well as for the care of insulin pump patients
