Services / On the ward
On duty for your benefit
Your medical care is the immediate responsibility of your ward physician. The physician in charge for you will prescribe the drugs you need.
Please contribute to the success of your therapy by taking these drugs assiduously at the prescribed times. Please do not take any pharmaceuticals which you or a visitor took along without your doctor knowing. In order to not endanger the healing success, we also ask you to not walk around the clinic or even leave the clinic site.
Staying outside the sick room
If you do not have to lie in your bed any longer, you can leave the sick room temporarily after consultation with the doctor treating you, and you can enjoy your mobility in the common room of the ward and in the public park of the clinical centre. Please make sure you are wearing appropriate clothes (e.g. bath robe or dressing gown on the ward, tracksuit or leisure suit on the clinic site) and, above all, please adhere to the medical ward rounds and treatment dates as well as mealtimes.
In case you leave the ward, please report to the nursing staff when you will leave and return. To stay in the ward’s bureaus is reserved to the nursing staff. In exceptional cases, your general condition permitting, you can be suspended during your stay in hospital. For this, however, an express approval by your clinic or department director is required.
