For hygienic reasons, pets must neither be taken along to the hospital site nor to sick rooms when visiting patients.

The patients’ coffee shop is located on the ground floor in House A.

Fire protection
Please report any fire or other operational disorders immediately to the ward’s staff as soon as you discover them.

In case of fire, it is absolutely necessary to keep cool!

Please follow the instructions by the ward’s staff or by fire-fighters

Flowers
The flower machine containing fresh bunches of flowers is set up and well visible next to the entry of the Surgical Clinic in House A on the ground floor.

Foot care
People interested in this service are asked to register with the janitor (phone 503-2103).

Hairdresser studio
The hairdresser studio is located in the entrance area between House A and B in the vicinity of the inner gate. You can arrange an appointment in person or by phone (62 99 538).

In-house TV channels
You have a choice of 40 free in-house TV channels. On channel 28, you will get round-the-clock current information about the clinical centre.

Liability claims and patients’ complaints
For suggestions, criticism and liability claims against our clinical centre and our staff that go beyond complaints please contact Mr Andreas Bondong. You can reach him Monday to Thursday from 7.30am until 3.30pm and on Friday until noon by phone on the internal number 4242, fax number 2129, and for correspondence via the house address or by e-mail bondonga@klilu.de and personally on phone arrangement in House P, 2nd floor.

Lost-property office
If valuables get lost or if they are found, please contact the janitor on the ground floor of House A. Valuables which have not been collected after 14 days will be passed on to the lost and found of the city of Ludwigshafen.

Mail
Stamps can be purchased from pay machines located in House B (ground floor), next to the public phone boxes. There is also a letterbox.

Meals
Meals are an important element of your treatment. They are prepared according to the latest medical and nutritional science principles. Please adhere to the diet prescribed by your doctor. Our

Kitchen will offer you pork-free food on request.

Mobile phones
For safety reasons it is not allowed to use mobile phones in the buildings of the clinical centre.

Night time peace
We would like to ask you to keep night time peace from 8pm to 8am.

Parking
Due to a lack of parking space, we cannot allow you to park your passenger car on the clinic site during your stay as an in-patient. Please use the parking space in Hohenzollernstraße, Bremserstraße and Leuschnerstraße.

Patient's phone
In order to be able to phone in your sick room, you will need a chip card which you can purchase from the pay machines. These are located in the traffic joints in House A (ground floor and second floor) as well as on the fourth floor in House B.

Phone isle
For external calls, there is a combined card-coin phone isle available in House B (ground floor).

Prayer rooms
For Muslims there are prayer rooms – separated by women and men - available in House H, ground floor (rear side). They can be used by patients, relatives and visitors.

Privacy
It goes without saying that in connection with data capture the data protection provision are carefully adhered to.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and also in the entrance area of House A. If need be, please use the marked smoking zone or the external site.

Taxi
A taxi can be called via the janitor at the entrance of the clinical centre or in case of people not able to walk via the ward personnel.

Television
Please take note of our leaflet when using the phone and television system. If you would like further information on that please call our hotline on 3099.

Theft
In hospitals too, thefts occur over and over again. As far as possible, please leave your personal valuables at home, never leave them unattended, and lock in your money and valuables. Please report any theft immediately to the ward management and to the security service.

Visitors
Your visitors are welcome during the official visiting hours. However, please advise your relatives and acquaintances that in case of coughs and sneezes there is an increased danger of infection for newly operated patients, babies and infants.

Night time peace:     8pm – 6am

Withdrawing money
Those who want to withdraw cash can use the automated teller machine of the Sparkasse in the entrance area near the inner gate.
