The Social Services in the clinical centre of Ludwigshafen offer comprehensive information, advice and support in the following areas:

• Application for follow-up curative treatments
• Application for early rehabilitation and geriatric rehabilitation
• Introduction of safety cures with tumour diseases
• Outpatients’ supply following a hospital stay
• Application for procurement of drugs and aids, nursing allowance
• Registration with and helping to get a place in an old people’s home or nursing home
• Short-term nursing in case of holidays or illness of the person giving care
• Conversations and helping patients in crisis situations
• Mediation of contact persons with self-help groups, information centres and authorities
• Information about the care-giving law
